From Naggar's deodar forests over a 12,000 ft pass with views of the Kullu and Parvati valleys, then down to Malana.

The Chandrakhani Pass trek climbs from Naggar's deodar forests to a scenic high pass at 12,000 ft, with sweeping views of the Kullu and Parvati valleys, before descending into Malana, one of the Himalaya's most distinctive and isolated villages.
Drive to Rumsu village and trek through deodar forest to the Naya Tapru campsite.
Climb steadily through alpine terrain to a high camp just below the pass.
Summit day: cross Chandrakhani Pass (12,000 ft) for panoramic views, then descend into the village of Malana.
Trek down from Malana to Jari and drive onward, concluding the trek.
Timings and campsites can change with weather, trail conditions and the pace of the group. Your trek leader makes the final call on the day.
Moderate
Chandrakhani Pass is graded Moderate: a well-established route with one demanding summit day. Suitable for reasonably fit trekkers, including many first-timers.
The highest point on this trek is about 12,000 ft. At this height many people feel the thinner air: headaches, poor sleep or loss of appetite are common early signs of altitude sickness. Drink water, walk at a steady pace and tell your trek leader straight away if you feel unwell. The usual first response to worsening symptoms is to stop climbing or descend.
Your trek leader or guide may change the plan, wait out bad weather or turn the group around if conditions or anyone's health make it unsafe to continue. Please tell us about any medical conditions or medication when you enquire, and carry a personal first-aid kit.
Best done May-June or September-November, when the pass is clear and views are at their best.
Starting price₹8,000per person
